Memorable Football Kits: Newcastle United 1995-97

Newcastle United kit 1995-1997

In the mid-nineties Newcastle United were a lot of people’s second team due to the sort of attacking football introduced by Kevin Keegan, and this is definitely one of my favourite kits of the time. Granted you can’t really go too wrong with black and white stripes, but even so.

I posted a video of Manchester United spanking Ipswich earlier, so it’s only fair that we even it out…

And who could forget this?

Have we signed anyone else yet?

The computer generated ‘possibly related post’ seems to have started a rumour
around a story that was a joke.

Anyway, it’s as probable as some of the transfer rumours which people pay good money to learn about.

Respect to NC. Excuse me if I pass on the ‘spanking of MU’ video ..

  3. Newcastle where amazing under Keegan back then i remember the 5 – 0 win over Utd what a day for Newcastle that was.
